	In November 1998, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission ( SKMM ) was created to lead the converging communications and multimedia industry. In November 2008, SKMM celebrates its 10th Anniversary. In honour of SKMM's first decade , the Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications Malaysia ( KTAK ), in collaboration with SKMM, organizes the EXPERIENCING CONVERGENCE. MyBROADBAND '08 for regulators, government agencies, operators, R&D institutions, academicians, content and application developers, speakers and dignitaries to assess on the progress of convergence, KTAK's and SKMM's role in its growth, as well as risks and opportunities facing the converging industry during its second decade. This special anniversary brings the opportunity to acknowledge the impact of convergence. KTAK and SKMM hope that it will also inspire even more collaboration, creativity, and understanding across the globe. Here's to the next 10 years.
